I’ve had this LED cube kit from Sparkfun for quite a while now, but somehow I never got around to actually building it. I finally put aside some time and it was a great experience. A bit fiddly, getting all the LED legs bent and lined up properly, but definitely worth it. It absolutely makes me want to invest more time in custom lighting electronics. I bet there’s a bunch of cool stuff I could make…
In theory I could program custom animations for this, but I didn’t bother. The ones that come with the kit are plenty interesting enough.
